WHAT’S LA PANZA?

“La Panza” in Italian stands for a rounded abdomen, in other words a big, full, happy belly.
We are a trattoria, a casual and family owned restaurant sharing dishes that our families have been cooking for generations.

We celebrate rustic, tasty dining aimed at bringing a new wave of undiscovered flavours to Bristol, crossing over tradition with a modern and elegant touch.

We’re located in an historical “Grade II” listed building, former school and home of the young poet Thomas Chatterton.

Situated between Portwall Lane and Redcliffe Way, on the left side of the road that leads towards Temple Meads from St. Mary Redcliffe Church and roundabout.
